My back was affecting me around 95% of the time, I couldn’t stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. Once my PT was complete, Sarah gave me a printout of what exercises to do on my own to continue my rehab. Hi Megan, I hope you are doing well, and still smilin'! I just wanted to tell you how GREAT I feel! I hardly have pain these days. I climb the stairs much easier, and can walk faster with no pain! Albeit not for a long period, but just to be able to walk with purpose is a wonderful feeling. My sister recently said to me as we were leaving a restaurant, how can you get up so fast? (out of the booth, no slow movement/stretching).. I told her Megan at PT!!! I stretch faithfully. It feels good to work through the stiffness...I get out of bed, and get dressed like I used to! I had my doubts PT would help me because I hurt so bad, but boy was I wrong!!!! A gazillion thanks to you, your knowledge, caring, and wonderful easygoing attitude! I am requesting you send this to your boss, as I want him/her to know how THRILLED I am to be myself again. YOU changed my life, and gave me the freedom of movement again, that I thought was gone forever...

I don't know how I would get through this pregnancy without Jaime Goss! She had been an absolute lifesaver! I had such a hard time finding anyone who treated SPD and I couldn't ask for someone more knowledgeable and experienced! I will do to her for any PT needs for life!

Thank you, Tim, for your help, running tips, and super helpful PT in prepping for my first marathon. I completed Barcelona a month ago now and it was a great run - I didn’t quite hit my goal time this time around but that just means I’m going after it again! "I can't recommend Mat at Bay State Physical Therapy Burlington enough. My 15 year old son had a complete ACL reconstruction and a meniscal repair. We started PT a month before his surgery and they got him 100% ready and in the best possible shape he could possibly be in. He is now able to play sports again! Our surgeon is extremely pleased every time we go for a follow up. Their work and laid back atmosphere makes it so welcoming to an unfortunate situation. I can't say enough good things about the professionals here Brittany, Marisa, TJ, Erin, Time and Suzanne out front create a terrific atmosphere for healing. I've been there for assorted muscle injuries over the years and have always come out better and with an understanding of how to prevent or self-treat if things recur. My sons have been there for more serious rehab from significant injuries and their progress coming back has been outstanding. My 80-year-old mother went after a fall caused issues and - when her appointments were up - still wanted to go by to say hello. Highly recommend.

"What a great find at the YMCA. I was curious as this facility is new and I have been sitting on a doctor's referral for my knee pain for a month now. I had been to one other place before and it was ok. I figured why not try them and found out that there are many Bay State offices throughout the state. Tim was great! He explained how my knee alignment was causing friction and inflammation in my knee and showed me some stretches and exercises to correct it. It is feeling better already. I have plans to do 8 weeks of the exercises and hopefully avoid that return trip to the UMASS ortho."

"I am a former rugby player with a laundry list of chronic injuries. I have had 6 arthroscopic surgeries on my knees and labral repairs in both of my shoulders. I am getting to that point whether it was total knee replacement time. My orthopedist told me to try physical therapy again in addition to my gym routine. I was actually surprised how much better I felt after a few weeks. I am encouraged that I can put it off in the short term maybe the long term. My Physical Therapist Jennifer Connell monitored, encouraged and caused me to want to get the skills I will need every day if I want to live it at the max This was my second session of P.T. Bay State and I can't believe how I continued to improve and progress to my goal of being able to continue to live my life without any fear of accomplishing things I used to take for granted before my Spinal stenosis started to cause a sundry of problems. I stand, walk, participate in activities I had avoided due to stability and movement difficulties. If you are seeking an establishment to address a problem, I strongly advise you to go to Bay State Physical Therapy as they have a number of locations in Eastern Massachusetts. But I have a special appreciation for the staff at the Kingston, MA location."

"With my experience at Bay State Therapy I have experienced all positives and no negatives. Suffering from severs disease ( when your bones are growing to fast for your muscles so they are always getting pulled on). My ankles and Achilles tendon were always in pain. By the way I'm a kid writing on my moms account. But when I came to physical Therapy I felt a incredible change with my condition. I was able to run for longer periods of time. I was always less sore after everything I do. I am very Grateful that my physical therapist Jen who always motivated me to do better and always had a smile on her face. "After several shoulder dislocations (15+), it was time to go under the knife.  I was in a sling for six weeks, and lucky if I could get four hours of sleep per night.  Wicked fun I know. Best time of my life. Two weeks post-op, physical therapy (PT) began.  Originally, I chose Bay State Physical Therapy (BSPT) because of their convenient location (10 min walk from Broadway station in South Boston).  At first glance, BSPT is a small place, but Tim and Justine provide more than enough equipment inside. Both are phenomenal physical therapists and are enjoyable to be around.  They know what they're doing and consistently make me feel comfortable due to their confidence, sense of humor and interpersonal skills. Over time, it became uncommon NOT to laugh and share stories and/or talk sports while doing my necessary exercises during PT.  In addition, Tim and Justine always address you by your name, which for me goes a long way. Sometimes I'll slip up and call Tim dude, to which he calls me dude back, just to give a better feel for the atmosphere at BSPT. Point is, they're highly intelligent and helpful people.  I'm currently nine weeks post-op and can now lift my arm above my head. May sound small, but not for nothing, that's solid after having four anchors and sutures placed in my shoulder to keep it in place. I won't be 100% (meaning lifting weights or participating in any sports) for another four months, but every day, thanks to Tim, Justine and their diligent routine(s), I gain strength and mobility back every day.  Overall, I'm happy to have chosen BSPT and would recommend their service to anyone with nagging physical issues. For what it's worth, I also see Tim and Justine rehabbing individuals with bad knees, necks, backs and other injured body parts. Be prepared to work hard and experience some pain, but know it's all worth it when it's said and done."

"This is my second Physical Therapist I have tried. The first one did the same exercises every time I went, they didn't up my count, change resistance or recommend working on opposing muscles. Tim @ BSPT listened to my complaints with my present condition and recommended safe, effective exercises that were so simple. I couldn't walk properly for a year and within a month I could notice a huge difference. With each stage of my injury, Tim recommended new/different exercises to work different areas. They don't have machines to work on but they use your own resistance, rubber bands, the ball and your own body weight as tools to get you better and you can do the exercises at home. I now bring my son there."
